SMS STOP and HELP Language

The program name is “Weight Loss Surgery Guide.” Authorized Hospital Cyntar personnel may send manual SMS messages through Bitrix24 in response to a surgery inquiry and, when the recipient has separately opted in, for bariatric education and promotional follow-up. The program does not use automated marketing sequences.

Place the following beside a separate, optional, unchecked SMS-marketing checkbox:

“By checking this box, you agree to receive manual SMS messages from Weight Loss Surgery Guide and Cyntar S.C. about bariatric education, your inquiry, and promotional follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. Consent is not a condition of receiving information or healthcare services. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.”

“Privacy Policy” must link to /privacy. “SMS Terms” must link to /stop-help-language.

When a telephone number or country selection indicates Canada, the opt-in presentation and every commercial electronic message must identify Weight Loss Surgery Guide and Cyntar S.C., provide valid contact information, and include a working unsubscribe mechanism. Cyntar S.C. must retain evidence of the consent relied upon.

When space is limited, use:

“Get manual texts from Weight Loss Surgery Guide/Cyntar about your inquiry, bariatric education and promotions. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP or STOP. Consent not required for services.”

The system must recognize STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT, regardless of capitalization or ordinary punctuation. Hospital Cyntar personnel must also honor clear plain-language requests such as “please stop” or “do not text me.” One confirmation may be sent after opt-out. No further SMS marketing may be sent unless a new valid opt-in is provided.

The keyword HELP must return the approved HELP message. Cyntar personnel must be able to identify the program, explain its purpose, confirm how the number was enrolled, and process an opt-out request.

Message frequency varies based on the active inquiry and optional promotional follow-up. Messages are sent manually by authorized Hospital Cyntar personnel through Bitrix24.

Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Availability may vary by carrier, device, and location.

Bitrix24 must retain the wording displayed, affirmative action, timestamp, source page, telephone number, program, purpose, and subsequent opt-out. Records should be retained for the life of the permission and for up to five years afterward when reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance or resolve a dispute.

An SMS opt-out must be applied promptly to the relevant number and program. The number must be added to the Bitrix24 suppression record so it is not unintentionally recontacted through an import, form, spreadsheet, or advertising lead source. Re-enrollment requires a new affirmative opt-in.

WhatsApp is not carrier SMS and may use different commands and platform behavior. A person may reply STOP, clearly request that messages stop, or block the business account. Cyntar personnel must record and honor the request in Bitrix24.
